So, umm. I was looking through lists of minecraft server and I thought "hmm, most banners are just a still image, why not make some moving ones that are 3D?"

So I made a few and I would like to show everyone my work here. DDD



By the way, this is my actual server's IP address. However, the words that flash by in these banners do not reflect what I actually have on my server in the next 3.



They might look slightly boring to some people, but I am using the first banner as my server listing banner, and in my humble onion, they stand out very well from the crowd of less dynamic banners.



I am quite please with myself as I have never tried something like this before, I do have Interior Design background with knowledge in 3D rendering, but this is relatively simple for a 3D animation.



On average each banner takes me about 2-3 hours to create. The rendering part is easy for me but still takes roughly 15 minutes. Which means each time I adjust the font or color I will have to wait for 15 full minutes to create the frames for the GIF again. I then process them through Photoshop to compile into a GIF and trim down it's massive file size.
