All of you who have seen the NPC Village inhabitants from the Minecraft Beta 1.9 Pre-release will know that they look very strange indeed (For those of you who haven't seen them, there's a screenshot here). I decided that they didn't look up to standards, so I created skins depicting what I think would be ideal for the NPC Villagers.

these are definately better than the defaced piglike thigs that they have right now but remember that its arms will always be folded so do you know if it has a different .char file than before?

Yes, the current villagers do indeed have different models, and unless I gain some Java coding experience, these skins cannot be put on the villagers. :(
