I'm new and playing Minecraft singleplayer. But when I click login it makes the loading bar and says ''Loading done'' in 0,5 sec. Really quick. After that it goes black screen for like.. forever?

Run: %appdata% go into the folder named .minecraft and delete everything execpt your saves
Ps: to get the Run prompt either go into your startmenu search run and choose the top application or open task manager and click 'new task...'

I'm a little nub with stuff like that. All I can say is that I don't have a Minecraft folder. I got the program which I downloaded off Minecraft.net. Its just a Block icon. Not a shortcut or folder.
Btw I don't know if its important but it's not the World of Minecraft/Creative Mode thingy. It's survival mode/Alpha. If I'm correct <.<

Ah ha! Go to the minecraft folder!(hidden folder D:/username/app data/minecraft.) Delete the .bin folder go to the website and click 'play in browser' Worked for me! it redownloads .bin file and fixes it!

And to reply to the comment that Camy415 said Not all OS show the appdata folder Most are Hidden and only way to find them normally is to use search %appdata% with RUN for windows or Finder with mac.. not sure about other OS's tho..

IF your not playing the brouser version its mostlikey due to a conflict with mods if you tried installing a spm mod.. how to fix this is.. for windows users goto start then run then type %appdata% and find the .minecraft folder.. delete everything but make sure you have a backup of your save games in Single-Player mode after that run the minecraft.jar mostlikey located on the desktop and make sure force update is checked.. for mac Its the same way but useing "finder" instead of run Hope this helps.. if your still experianceing problems feel free to PM me and I'l try to help with what I can.
