This is really beginning to piss me off, Ive been looking everywhere for the solution.

Ive been trying to install mods onto my minecraft.
First i go and download the mods, I go into minecraft.jar folder in appdata, Roaming then .minecraft, Then opened the minecraft.jar in the bin folder. It opens with Winrar, But there are NO Folders at all, Just class files and the like.
I have downloaded multiple times, tried many different combinations of running as admin, and other things. I just want to install a mod!
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

First off you are using windows right?

If your running windows this applies to you.

Make a copy of your minecraft folders.  Move them out of the appdata.  Then go launch minecraft.exe .  Then using watever archiver you want, (winrar, 7zip, etc.) follow the directions it says to install the mod (tell me what mod you are trying to install so i get an idea on what your trying to do).
By the way, when you moved your .minecraft folder out of ur appdata, and you launch minecraft.exe it will download a fresh copy of the minecraft.jar file and all the other crap.  Which means the minecraft.jar file comes with everything it should.
