Can't get minecraft to work

When i click to play sometimes it just goes black and then disappears and sometimes the load screen actually pops up and loads AND THEN it disappears. Then i find a folder on my desktop with various errors on it like err_pid4803 or err_pid3874 and so on. i updated my drivers and java. i have no idea what to do. :(

to answer your question i'm not sure i know what a mod is or how i would get one lol so im pretty sure i dont. i tried to troubleshoot and it came up with "incompatible aplication" i don't know if that mwans for my comp as a whole, or my operating system or what. i bought this laptop for gaming specifically. i was SURE it would run just about anything. yikes.

Mods if so make sure you deleted meta.INF

Did you have any mods installed? If so it may be because a. The mod is not working or it is outdated b. you dont have modloader or forge.
