cant port forward 25565! help

whenever i try to port forward 2556 it doesnt work but when i use a different port it works.. i always go to yougetsignal.com to check if i did it right and any port besides 25565 works.. it says its closed on my ip. but i know i did it all correctly

i know how to port forward its just when i do it doesnt work for 25565

Use another port

If 25565 isn't working for some reason why not use another port?
open server.properties with notepad and then you can change the server stuff in there.
also the link is to the minecraftwiki page about server.properties

Hmmmmmm.........

Get on portfoward.com and select your router and select Minecraft. I hope this helps.

sigh

i know how to make a server and port forward perfectly fine. i had my server running good for a wile. It just stopped working and i cant connect using my external ip. i port forwarded perfectly fine it just is not working
