Can't Register at WOMRealms to get Direct Connect Link! Help!

So im currently logged into WOMRealms and tons of people are having the same problem.

I got as far as getting an email with a link to verify registration but when i click the link it brings me to the WOMRealms site and says "failed to set password" "Something has gone wrong. Try clicking the link in your email again"
but nothing happens 
Im trying to use the direct connect link to see if i can get my World of Minecraft client to work because ever since yesterday im getting the 502 error after trying to login
ive tried pretty much everything else but direct connect link
hoping to get some answers from someone who knows whats going on. thanks!

I've also had this problem.

I've also had this problem. As far as I know, I've followed the instructions... tried it again on Mac instead of Windows, and then in Chrome instead of Firefox. Nothing worked. It sounds like a cool server, too...

As 'someone who knows

As 'someone who knows virtually nothing about computers past end-user stuff', I attempted to clear cache and ensured all of my cookie/security settings were nominal. Didn't help either.

I guess this might help, if only in a 'process of elimination' way?

Its serverside. And There is no news on ANYONE fixing it.

For people who haven't gotten

For people who haven't gotten on Realms and started asking: it is indeed server-side, and the devs know about it, so it's just a matter of waiting to check if it gets fixed now.
