A while ago I was on the World of Minecraft server, building a cathedral for my village on the new map. I noticed that when I tried to enter a message on chat it didn't appear.
I could see people moving and talking, and I could make blocks, but still, no chat for me.
This wasn't really a problem, as I was busy building anyway, however, someone comes up to my cathedral and says "ill help!", and when I tried to say no it didn't appear on the chat!
So this guy is adding things to my cathedral, covering the roof with cobblestones... and I can't stop him.
I logged off, planning to log back on and see if chat worked, but alas, I couldn't log back on.
When I log on now and choose the server from the list, the loading bar appears but moves VERY VERY slowly, and eventually goes non-responsive.
This usually happens to me in the evening or mid day. I have to log on early.
Seriously, I need this dude to stop ruining my cathedral but I can't log on - It's like griefing but he's "helping" and I can't say no!

Have you tried logging in through the minecraft.net interface?

yeah, doesn't work either.
I can go on sometimes if I'm lucky, and in the morning usually.
When I got back on, my cathedral was like before.
I guess he was really just trying to help.
Dunno why he stopped though.
