I've tried many things, but Castle Defense will not install correctly..
I don't get the starting items, no castles, or anything...
I have both Mobloader and Castle Defense 2.5...
It might be that the problem that it's 2.5 when I have Minecraft 1.4.6, but I can't find any other Castle Defense installer that's any better.
I have Winrar, I do what the youtube tutorials tell me, but I just simply can. Not. Get. It. .To. Work!!
Nothing at all works.. I've even tried putting in other Mods and they don't work the way it does in the youtube tutorials for them..
I have a Dell Windows XPS computer.
Please help, I'm about to just give up Minecraft. xD

It's not the problem with this mod, it's just that I don't know how to install a mod correctly.

Possibly downgrade to 1.4.5? If the mod hasn't updated for 1.4.6 yet, then it might not be compatible.

@Jupiter_Ginger - I downgraded to 1.4.5, but when I add mods and log into minecraft it goes dark and I can't do anything. Even after deleting Meta Inf.
I even followed the instructions of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0Zkz1b9iYA .
I'll try 2.5
@Niels - I haven't seen an error report yet, it just won't play the game with the mods I've put in. It'll still play, but items that you should start out with don't show up, and I've explored a bit and couldn't find any castles that should be randomly generated.

Make sure you are using the right version of modloader, the right version of the mod, and that you are instaling it in the correct order. What installer(s) are you using? You also might have conflicting mods. Try doing a force update as well.

The problem here is that the Castle Defence mod is currently only avaliable for Minecraft version 1.2.5

If you want to successfully install and run it, you will need to downgrade to version 1.2.5
EDIT: You were doing all the installation correctly, just not with the right Minecraft version.
