Chocolate Land is a year old community that began as a Minecraft Classic Server. Later, special thanks to a friend, Sendow, we now have an SMP Server. It was originally whitelisted due to griefing issues but now we decided to remove it so everyone could play.

If you're a new player to Chocolate Land, once you join it is highly recommended that you visit the tutorial area. To get there use /warp tutorial
The Theme.
The server's theme is more of a modern city although you have the right to build whatever you'd like.
Economy.
The server's economy is based on iConomy.
How to make money.
To make money on the server you can head down to the bank and sell your gold ingots, diamond, and iron ingots. For easy transportation to the bank, you can use /warp bank
Shops.
You can start shops on the server and sell your items to other players by purchasing (with in-game money) a plot in the city. To do that you'll need to contact an admin.
Building in the city.
Like shops, you'll need to purchase a plot to build in the city. You have to also contact an admin to buy a plot.
Wildy.
If you decide not to purchase a lot in the city yet, you can build away from the city or in the wilderness. Builds there will be unprotected and will cost to be protected. The prices will be arranged by the admins.
Starting your own town or city.
You can start your own town or city. Any sort of theme will do although it will cost to get the area protected also.
Rules
Griefing will never be tolerated under any circumstances. At no time should you ever grief, spam, abuse the CAPS LOCK, lie to the staff, steal, and use fly mods. More rules will be displayed in the server with the command, /rules
Anti-Grief
The staff promises to try and reduce and prevent griefing as much as possible. Punishments from griefing depending on severity will be jail time, kicks, temp bans, or perma bans.
We are currently not actively looking for staff members due to the amount we already have from the past year. But if a member proves to be active, loyal, and respectful, a promotion will be considered.
The server is powered by CraftBukkit and currently works for 1.8.1.

The server crashed but it is up now. We restarted the server so you can join now. Also uplusion23 please read your pm on our community forum.

Server Update
It has been a while since I have made an update to this topic so here's some additional up-to-date information:
-Chocolate Land is now compatible for 1.8.1 running on Bukkit.
-Due to a recent hacker's attack our official site is now temporarily down. This isn't an issue since our forums are still up: http://s4.zetaboards.com/Chocoland/index/
