Is cMss dead?

The download link is broken and I had to make a .py to run it. It also seems like it hasn't been updated for a long time. I really want some form of custom server for Minecraft and so far I haven't had any luck with any of them. I got cMss to work, but it wasn't at all what I was expecting.

Download link works perfectly for me. I didn't have to make a .py nor a .pl nor a .bat, nor an .exe, nor .cpp for it. It has been long since it updated. If it's not what you expected, move on to something else.
Not much else I can say.
