I was just curious how irc works, how when we say a staff name the staff magically replies? Is it a plugin? I have always been curious and how do they talk to us from irc!? Thanks :)

if its a VPS forget about server end cause it does take up too much resources also your skype name isnt on the skype directory

On irc, if you say someone's name (or any other words they can set up for it) it will "ping" them. This will make an annoying pinging sound that they will hear, so they know that someone is talking to them. That is how they instantly know to reply.
So for someone like wolftone, they have it set up to ping when people say: wolftone1916, wolftone, or wolf.
