Damaged launcher on Mac

I just bought my MC account. I was playing a cracked version of the game before, but now i deleted every single minecraft related file on my mac...i'm running mountain lion.
i downloaded the .zip file from minecraft.net, which automatically got unzipped. when i try to run the game i immediately get an error saying "minecraft is damaged and cant be opened. you should move it to the trash"
i couldnt find any problems with my java and i rather wouldnt try downgrading the OS back to lion :/ any suggestions?... feels pretty bad spending 25$ for nothing
please help!

Delete your .minecraft folder and install the paid version of Minecraft... :/
