My mom wont let me go on minecraft because she is certain that it has a virus that hides in the script when its on laptops and only laptops which makes no sense to me and until i can prove that it doesnt have one i cant go on it any more.please help.

there are no viruses in minecraft man
the only way of a virus is that a minecraft player is infected with it and the virus goes trough the internet to your PC
just install a good anti virus software (Add-Aware AVGfree) and its fine

Maybe she just made that up because she wants you to go play outside and she thought you would believe it. If you have only one computer she might not want you hogging it for minecraft.

go to avira antivir.com and run a hidden objects search.There will be a virus in JAVA/accounts which runs minecraft.

Also the virus is hidden so any virus detecting stuff will not detect it unless you use a hidden objects search

for fun, i ran a Malwarebytes scan, an Avast scan and a Spybot S&D scan (while minecraft was running)

Virustotal.com is your best friend, scans with pretty much all the anti-virus programs you can think of, and guess what? Minecraft came up clean!

"Minecraft has a virus thats implanted into java and it turns off anti virus stuff" you sure sound like you know what you're talking about (sarcasm). It has never crossed anyones mind that minecraft could contain a virus, no one believes you and your ranting will never make anyone question minecrafts security. If you would go ahead and look at the top of the screen you'll notice over 50,000 people have registered on World of Minecraft's servers... if you read the front page you'll notice the World of Minecraft community has been around and playing minecraft for over a year now, if you look at minecraft's statistics you'll notice over 340,000 people have registered and you believe you're the first person to notice this virus. Please do not post here about this again, you're making yourself look like a fool and pushing other more important topics off the "Active forum topics" list.
