early access was for when World of Minecraft's server was updating to 1.7 from 1.6 early access was for people to get into the 1.7 server before it was fully updated

We arn't keeping both SMP's running becuase a few users machines (which apparently are potatos) can't handle the new update

if their computer can't handle it then its time they get a new computer
also trying to run a 1.6 server with a 1.7 server takes a lot of resourses so you cant blame World of Minecraft for running the one server (erm make that 3+ as CMP, SMP, Lobby etc run seperetly)
