hey so i have my minecraft server and it was working for a while. no problems at all but since World of Minecraft got ddosed on the 30th of october my server hasnt been letting me join.. works for everybody else but me , it says failed to connect to server , its probably down. so i really need help on this , im not sure what to do. please answer ty

Albox, I did the portforwarding, Everything is fine, even the 25566 or whatever, I can't connect to my own server, And I don't know if others can, Please help

i've had the same problem, still no answers, i'm running an mclawl server and it says failed to connect, you failed to connect to server its probably down. even though its not -_-

I dont have an answer, but I can confirm the same thing happens on my private MCSharp server. Well, sort of anyway. I can connect once when the server starts... if I then dc, I can't connect back anymore.

i use to be able to connect to my mclawl server but i changed my port to 1256, and it still worked. When i changed it back to 25565, i cant connect to my server, it says it down but the laptop says its running

I Know Their Alot Of World Of Minecraft People That Can Help On This, But Obviously No One Wants To. I Thought maybe It Was A Temporary Bug But This Has Been Going On For At Least 3 Months. Please Answer This Question World of Minecraft Programmers. I Have The Same Problem, And Its Not As Simple As Refreshing The Client. This Is More Of A Computer Issue It Seems, And I Would Like A Little Assistance To Solve It. Ill PST Back If I Get A Solution.

ok so after having a mincraft server with the normal server from minecraft.net i went and downloaded Mclawl ok so i install Mysql and setup a password ect. ok i portforwarded the mysql port and i can connect to my mclawl server fine! BUT! no one can connect! i ask all my friends on minecraft they all say it said: "failed to connect its probably donw."
and im so freaking pissed off i have no idea whats rounge with it!!! YES I PORTFORWARDED RIGHT BEFORE I USED MCLAWL I HAD A OTHER SERVER THAT EVERYONE COULD CONNECT TO!!!
Please help me if you can find out what the hell is the problem with my server I'll give you the rank of Op at my server!

Okey ive got a problem. My server is up and working fine. Other people can join and so can i. BUT! I can only join with the computer i run server from. I cant connect with any of my other pcs on my network... it sais server is probably down but yeah... it isnt lol :(

i cant connect to ANY server

did you set up port forwarding?(since others can connect to ur server u probably did). just restart the server and try and join again. happened to me i just refreshed and started working. if it still doesnt work than download mcsharp or some other custom server.
