Hey folks. I just disocvered mincraft a few days ago, but I've been
hooked every since. I haven't bought the game yet, but i've seen a good
few hours worth of playthrough videos.

Anyway, i just wanted to say hi and ask a few quick questions.

1: How would i get into the survival multiplayer thing (After i buy the game of course)?
2: How big is the game in terms of hard drive space? I've looked everywhere, but can't find a thing on it.
3:
How draining is the game on comptuer resources? I was thinking of
recording my very first playthrough, but my computer kinda sucks. (3fps
on company of heroes FTW!)

Welcome to World of Minecraft.

1.No clue, don't have the game ether
2. Small.
3. You'll have a small FPS issue.

1. As of now we do not have a server browser; however, you can enter the IP address of the server you wish to join. To find available servers, the minecraft community has made a temporary server list found at:

servers.minecraftforum.net
2. The game can be played online without a download, but if you wish to download it it is only about 200KB. Saves take up more space (I would say typically in the 1-10 megabyte range depending on how much of the map you've spawned) the current save I use is only 5.3 MB
3. It's not very draining at all; however, my Acer Aspire One netbook  can't run it without the fog level increased somewhat. It's not too graphically challenging. If Minecraft Classic runs fine, then the Alpha should work fine too (someone should probably confirm this just to have a second opinion).

To combat the small FPS issue you may or may not have according to Valrose (he's probably right, though) you'll just need to adjust the fog, which really doesn't have THAT much of an impact on gameplay, just limits long distance visibility.
