What Minecraft?
If it's classic, press "F" on your keyboard. If it doesn't work, then its something to do with the server you're on.
If you're talking Beta or SMP, try setting the affinity to CPU 0 and CPU 1. You can also try setting the priority to High. To access those, goto Task Manager, click Processes and right click on javaw.exe.
You can also try the first option, as that MAY work.
