Installing textures easily!

For Minecraft Alpha, the playing screen is smaller than it should be (I know because sometimes my friend is playing when I get there). If anyone knows why this is happening to me please let me know.

umm.... can you tell me how to reinstall minecraft please? and what I meant by the playing screen is smaller is that the part of the screen that is used to actually play minecraft and shows the world, blocks, mobs, etc. is a smaller porportion of, to what I know, what most others have. ie: mine playing screen's edge is about 2 in. from the end of the monitor while others are only about 1/2 in.

you can just increase the size by clicking and draging the corner. At least i can do that.

I cant it stays the same size i could measure the size of the playing screen and find the ratio to the monitor size but Im trying to find out why and dont think it would be of any use doing that...

more help wanted i keep spawning in same place on SMP and i just pop up in the place im stading at random times and then i cant go anywhere

Be more specific, its pretty hard to understand what is smaller and whatnot. try reinstalling minecraft! that usually helps most problems!
