Hey All,
I just picked up the new World of Minecraft client with Direct Connect URLs which is great since the server list hasn't been working much lately.
Problem is, I don't know how to create a DC URL from my server app...
Any help would be hot.

i need to know so i can tell my friend (who hosts our server cuz he has more ram than i do, otherwise i would host it) so he can give me that so i can put that in
its not a creative server its a smp server.

Can you please clarify World of Minecraft as you have posted in a Direct Connect ip thread but you haven't specified what part of it is not working for you.

The World of Minecraft client will work on any servers, you do not need to do anything to make it work, you just need to download the client, log in, then choose a server from the list

The server hash isn't what goes at the end of the Direct Connect URL, it is something called a mppass which is diffrent for every user. if it was the server hash then anyone could login as anyone.

So...If World of Minecraft is down, how do u connect to someone elses server with a direct connect url? No matter what I try it always sends me to my own server, never the one i'm trying to getn to. Please help asap.

Glad you are using MCForge, prefer it over anything else.
Anyway a direct connect url is going to look like this:
mc://(ip here):(port here)/(Username here)/URL
You must add mc:// at the front
after that you put your local ip address if you are on a home network.
if you want another person to direct connect, look at your ip on whatismyip.com
Should look something like this: mc://11.11.111.11
After that look at your port in MCForge, then put it as the following:
mc://11.11.111.1:25565
Now to put in your username... Should look like this..
mc://11.11.111.1:25565/flybattery
then you find your minecraft URL
Should look like this http://www.minecraft.net/93b8709b2639b6936b
take the last bit that looks like /93b8709b2639b6936b then add it to the end of the direct connect url and it should work!!
Example: mc://11.11.111.1:25565/flybattery/93b8709b2639b6936b
