Now what?
I can't figure out how to install or run the game. What program should I use? I have already downloaded winRAR and Java. I have downloaded the free version of the game, and that works. The downloaded full version of the game has a white page for an icon in my Minecraft folder. Preferably it would be a icon of some sort, Java, winRAR or anything. On the website it says: You've already bought the game, thank you.
Well, I can't play it. So how do I do? Please help me!

Thank you for your respons but I'm sorry but I feel pretty dumb. I can't really understand what you mean. As I said:
- I can play offline (not being able to craft or see nighttime
- I can play multiplayer online with others on servers and stuff
- But, I can't play the "story mode" where you do craft different items and see nighttime
And again I have bought the game and downloaded the free version. The paid for, and downloaded from the website, file is not possible to play or anything.
What am I doing wrong? Could someone please help me from start to finish? A guide "How to get the paid version for stupids", if you will.

you dont have to download it to play it, there are two options:
'on browser' option
and
'download option'

make sure you download the EXE if you are in windows
otherwise the .JAR must be run with java command :
java -Xmx1024M -Xms512M -cp MinecraftLauncher.jar
there is nothing to install really...
the only tihng you need is java on java dot com.
then the Minecraft.exe just run by itself... no install...

I have downloaded the EXE but that file is not compatible with any program on my computor. And the .JAR file only works online in single and multiplayer (the mode where you can't craft tools, where night never falls a s o. I can only access the world where it is snowing. I can't even chop trees in this "world". I want the full version wich I found on Youtube, where everyone are building houses and crafting torches, swords, glass a s o.
It feels like I'm missing something. What?

Ok im clicking the White page Icon called "Mineraft" then it asks me chose a program 2 run it in. am i doing something wronge?

Ok i found out how to fix the problem about what 2 run it with. when you download the file hit save and when it asks u 2 name it but .exe at the end of minecraft and it will work :D
