okay one question how do you have contributor at 21 points, and okay just try and reinstall 1.9 and it should work other than that idk sorry

It's probably a throwback from before the new points system was put in place Skaterkid, as you can see from the Joined: date next to my name I've been on this forum for over 2 years now.

If you want help, "it wont work" will get you nowhere. Tell us what the error was, if the client threw back an error, or if you got a red screen with an error on it. If the error was "Failed to connect!" then see kevinsweijen's forum topic "the recent server fails", i believe that is what kevin is talking about. I am experiencing that issue, and my suggestion is wait it out and try World of Minecraft occasionally (once a day) to see if it came back up.

Unable to authenticate username/password, possible reasons:
- Minecraft.net servers are having intermittent issues - they are currently going through upgrades, so be patient?
- You AREN'T using your minecraft.net username/password
- You are getting your username incorrect
- You are using an outdated client which doesn't actually work anymore
- due to upgrades at minecraft.net for authentication any client less
then 1.9.0 doesn't work. - You need sufficient admins privileges to run the World of Minecraft Game Client, trying moving it to C:\
When connecting to a server and it disconnects:
- The server might have hacks disabled
- They reject any users with the World of Minecraft Game Client
- You are banned and they changed the protocol to say otherwise
- There server is down and still in the cached list
To be honest, the list is endless.
Also search the forums it already exists or even try http://womjr.com/debug

the server list is messed up since the beta update, so use direct connect for now
