I have my own server, and it's working fine, and I love the World of Minecraft Client to let me fly and such. My problem is, when I try to log into my own server (from the same computer, or any other computer on the network), it gives me the "illegal name" problem that seems to be a problem when verify names is set to "true." I followed the instructions on the minecraft.net forum to fix this through the web browser ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?id=2085 ), but I really would like to be able to fly and run on my own server when home so I can patrol for griefers. Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem that I can implement? Does anyone else have this problem on the client, or am I alone? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
