I find it odd that many of the websites I go on try to ruin someones reputation because of simple mistakes my staff members. Some people try to add or help people with things, someone cries "Griefer!" and then the person is instantly banned. I request my named be removed from this Griefing list simply because even if it was an accident, my name should not be falsely accused with no proof either. 7k people eh. I decided to look up some names of people I know. A lot I find are people who I stream gameplay with who help others with their work. 7k sounds suspicious anyway.

Most websites don't post their ban lists, ect anyway because of privacy issues. Now I am trying to go into some servers but some are using this griefers list as a way of getting rid of people. I found it off that not a lot of people were play free multiplayer but now I do understand. If you continue this, all I suggest is a restart of the list or the removal of a great deal of the names, those without undeniable proof.

Maybe you can honor Privacy Policies and get rid of the list all together, or keep it secret. That is all I have to say.

First of all, we do not ban

First of all, we do not ban people for griefing - rather put the at the rank of spectator which disabled them from all building abilities. Secondly we do not do this when someone announces a griefer - we find who with our script which gives us all actions on a block.

Our system provides irrefutable proof that a person has griefed or modified the said blocks.

The list is our spectator list. We post this because other servers sometimes use the same list. Whether or not servers wish to use the list is up to them, not us. We simply provide the list of all our spectated users.

Privacy policies are per site - not as the user wishes. If we wish to provide the information that is up to us.

If you or anyone you know wishes to get off the list, they can do so very easily by filing a spectator appeal.

We don't do it to ruin your "reputation". We do it to warn people who have griefed our server.

Adding to others builds is against our policy. If you had read it like you're supposed to before building, you would have known that.
I'd also like to point out that we don't ban players for griefing, especially not on hearsay.

File an appeal. If you're spectated, we have proof.

We've been around for a year. 7k griefers is less than 20 a day. That's less that 1 an hour. Not so suspicious anymore eh?

It has nothing to do with privacy. We aren't posting anything that you haven't yourself offered to the community. And that is your online alias.
