Gaming is a community driven on the purpose of surviving against the
elements. As such, we maintain the purest of philosophies, and with a
realistic mindset, we set to isolate ourselves from the ideology of none
sense and we strive to maintain the balance between our own forces and
the those of the wilderness. Within our world, our community sets out to
conquer that which drives us back. We live as a whole, a town ripe with
character and gusto. With this in mind, we await any and all who wish
to join VC Gaming!

Surrounded
by a mist of clouds and crashing tides, an island breaks through on the
horizon. The burning of the red sun casts a weary shadow upon the
landmass ahead. For you have just landed upon the Isles of Elmoria.
Waves
crash against the broken ships of old while torn and tattered sails
whip around with the air, embracing the long forgotten memory of pirates
and cut throats, for many have found the Isles of Elmoria, but even
more have disappeared because of it.
Monsters from the very
depths of the earth seek to strike out and eliminate the flora and fauna
that have taken root on the Isles surface. Caves cut from the very
earth itself hold treasures beyond gold and diamonds. For the knowledge
of old, lost deep within the earth, seeks to break free once more.
Ancient
structures and dangerous dungeons await the mighty adventurer. Bold and
brave, you have been chosen to step forth from the masses and attempt
to stop the evil that is taking hold of Elmoria.

You
awake within a small room. The smell of death hangs heavy in the air,
and you have no idea how you stepped forth into this predicament. A
voice whispers softly within your ear, almost as if they're in your very
mind.
We've been waiting for you, young
one. An adventurer so bold as to take forth arms and fight that which
may destroy you. We are the Ancients, and though we have long since past
from this earth, our hold on this Island remains steadfast.
It
seems however, that in the absence of our presence, an evil has swept
through the Isles, seeking to undo the life that we have given. We give
you the task of stopping this force, to protect those which you hold
most dear.
A calming force sweeps over you. A grip of courage
wraps around your soul. The presence of the Ancients still lingers in
this place.
Dear, sweet, child of our creation. Though we
are gone, we know you will succeed in this quest. We have always known
of your kinds potential. The heart which you carry is strong and just. A
weapon in itself against this coming darkness.
Now go, step
forth if you a ready heart, make your way past our trials to claim you
life back once more.We will be watching you, but fear not, guidance will
be given to those who ask. For we are with you always.

- We are a realistic role playing server.
- We have a variety of plug-ins that enhance the game play of Minecraft.
- Survival is our main focus with small bits of RPG added.
- Our hosting is online 24/7.
- We use Ventrilo as a means of communication
- Our server's version is: 1.1.0.

- We
use a custom texture pack with Ovo's Rustic as the foundation, and the
Items list are from Dokucraft. A link will be provided once you're
accepted into the server.

- Must be active and maintain your presence within the server.
- Do not steal anything that doesn't belong to you.
- Keep to the central theme of the server. (No pixel art, unrealistic buildings, etc)
- If you have Achluophobia, then this server is too dark for you.
- Be respectful and friendly to your fellow members.
- Absolutely no griefing.
- Having a role-playing character isn't required, but is welcomed.
- Having a desire to understand the lore and discuss it.
- Ventrilo is not minatory to join our server. This is a free program.
- If
a structure (A key lore location or dungeon) was there before you,
don't try to mess with it. Doing so may result in a possible ban. - The use of X-ray or any other means of hacking will result in a permanent ban.
- This texture pack is for the server, please do not redistribute it as your own work.
- You are not allowed to leave Elmoria.
- A few select rules will be issued once a player joins our Vent server. (Just a recap of this thread and a few other things.)
