So I'm new to World of Minecraft, registering here because I liked the sound of a non-browser dependent client. I downloaded the wrapper, put minecraft.jar into lib folder, and ran run.bat. Everything goes smooth until I attempt to connect, and then I get our old friend:

"Pixel Format not Accelerated."
This doesn't happen to me when I use the website. I checked the topic for a solution, but no luck. Any ideas?

Windows 7

99% of the time this problem comes from using Windows 7. The other 1% is that your graphic drivers are out of date.

If you are using Windows 7, right click run.bat, click Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab. Check the Run this program as an administrator box to enable this option. Also, check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box. Click on the drop down menu arrow and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) or Windows XP (Service Pack 2). Click on OK to apply the changes.

If that doesn't work, try updating your graphic card drivers.

Well

it must be my drivers then. I guess I'll have to check. I'm still curious as to why this happens with the wrapper and not the vanilla client, though.

The wrapper does not work

The wrapper does not work currently.

There was a new game engine update, and it screwed everything up :(
