Hi all!

My son plays Minecraft, but suddenly Java didn't work. Have read everything I could about Java malfunction on this forum and others. Have uninstalled Java 7, have installed Java 6.38. Run Firefox, get message that the add-on is disabled, then enable it but still it doesn't work. Got the picture with the camera-like thing and the link for one-time enabling java, java loads and then blank page and Firefox freezes...

Run Vista on the computer...

Any help solving this is deeply appreciated! (Will be online for a short while, then back tomorrow.)

Download it.

I'm assuming you're playing the game in-browser.  If you just download it and run the game from the .exe file it just might work.

Solutions???

So lets see if I got this right... If I disable scripts then there is no risk for security breaches? Will this apply on Java 6 or 7? Or both? Or is the problem elsewhere? On the other issue: I have tried to download and run from .exe, but the same problem appears there -> I start the game, and java loads, Mojang logo appears, and then blank...                          Is there any way to run Minecraft on Vista? I have another, more up to date laptop who runs on Windows7, and there is no problem whatsoever running Minecraft in a Firefox browser. Still a bit confused...
