When I run the World of Minecraft client and attempt to connect to a server or start a single player game, I get the following error repeating seemingly endlessly:
I am running this on Windows 7, it has worked for months before and just stopped working last night.

I updated Java and reinstalled the client, and continued to get the error.

I closed down as many external applications as I could, without disabling security, and it still fails to run. Any help is appreciated.

Please respond with anything that might help

I understand this is a slow forum, but please understand that it is difficult and aggravating to administrate a server without flying hacks or speed hacks.

I can use the /fly command, but it is difficult to use. That is what I'm doing. Any help is appreciated.

Last bump

Please, someone answer this.

I'm so desperate I'm considering reinstalling Windows 7... barely, but it's still an option. :/

Fixed, ish

I managed to fix my issue. Sort of.

I had been running a copy off of my Dropbox until recently, when I moved it to my desktop. It still worked for a while there, but then I got the error above. I went to dropbox.com and un-deleted it, and ran it, and it works now.

I have no idea what changed, but it works and that's all that matters to me. Sorry to anyone who might find this during a Google search! I feel your pain.
