Joining the World of Minecraft worlds

For some reason, i cant load the minecraft worlds, on the client or on the web page. Screen gets stuck at the loading screen then freezes so i have to manually exit it. Any help?

2: i have a laptop, and i can play on archive worlds fairly easy
