I have been trying to get my brother connect to my Minecraft world since a few days, without much success. Everytime I click on "Open to LAN", I get a message saying "Local game hosted on 0.0.0.0:xxxxx". I am not an expert with networks, but shouldn't the address be something like 192.168?
Both computers are connected to the same router, and both are running the same version. It would be great if someone would help me out with this.

I know how to get ur ip.
Open up (if you have it) cmd, then in cmd, type Ipconfig.
Then it should come up with alot of things and look at the top and look for the numbers beside IPv4 Address..............192.168.0.25 (that is an example)
That is how me and my bro get it. XD

Pinkjams and mia0698, thanks a lot, that helped! I found my IP using ipconfig, and since I use Wifi, I looked it up under Wireless Adapter. The other computer could connect right away using Direct Connect! I can't tell you how relieved I am to have this work finallly! :D
