I was attempting to install a mod a few months back now I've royally messed up my minecraft game, if someone might be able to pinpoint the cause. May I get some help?

Your .jar file should automatically reinstall when you start the game. If it doesn't, delete your entire .minecraft folder (save your screenshots if you want) then start up Minecraft. The entire game will download.

Ok gentlemen thank you for your aid. I'll try hunting down that file. If no success comes, well. I guess I''ll bump it after a day or so. I've had this issue for months and just wanted to see if I could figure it out.

It should be just in Roaming, make sure you're not looking in the wrong account.
