Hey Fellow Minecrafters!
Want to be in the FIRST Minecraft machinima? Well heres your chance, DigitalX has decided to create a short 3-5 minutes machinima about Minecraft. Where only accepting 4-7 Members to be in the video so send us a private message with adescription of your past experience with Minecraft and the filming community. Where looking for people with a great scene of humor, artistic and is willing so spend all the time it takes to make it perfect (around 1-3 hours of filming).
Where looking for someone who could make a short 2-4 page script explaining what is Minecraft and what should we be seeing in the future for this amazing game.
Can you make a server? If so WE NEED YOU! send us a message and we will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible.

A - Where still discussing with some staffs about this project, but there are great chances it does get uploaded there.

A - November 10th (or earlier)

A - Yes, since were filming on an Alpha server.

I think he means the traditional concept of "machine cinema" which let's play videos are usually considered "gamevids" in the public eye. However, legally any use of a video game as a main source of the entertainment value of a video is considered a "gamevid".
Yes, I have looked into the documents surrounding this matter, more so in Halo machinima. :P
Anyway, I have had some experience in machinima scripting before. I won't shameless plug here but if you want to know I can send you links of Halo Machinima I voiced in and scripted. Also, what is the overall goal of this video. Instructional with humor segments? Going for an overall plot in an episode? Or is it kind of up in the air as to what the video will be at the moment?

As for a machinima series on machinima that isn't a let's play, I don't think there is one yet.
Not trying to discourage, more Minecraft is good :D
And there certainly isn't enough good machinima of it yet.
