It's been updated since then. This is a reskin of the game to make it more "Christmas-y".
Extract all files except terrain.png into your minecraft.jar. Place terrain.png into your skin folder in the client wrapper.
Credit to Notch for the wood texture, it's the old one from a long time ago.
