I use OS X, Linux and good old windows XP. Be nice to have windows 7 with ivybridge. To what I've been hearing and reading about window 8, I whouldn't even be seen dead with that on my computer.

Why the hate?

Why do people not like windows 8? I don't understand why Minecraft won't be supported.

AFAIK, the "lockdown" means you can't have your games you want unless Microsoft says you can have it. Which is why people are going to the next best OS, linux.

Yenwood, they are not going to Linux they are staying on Windows 7.

Even if they buy Windows 8, Windows 8 keys can activate Windows 7 software.
