The Raspberry Pi is a really small and really cheap single board computer that is meant to simulate and teach the basics of computer science in schools.

The Raspberry Pi is being shipped to schools all around the world, helping children build and visualize computer programs. Well, Mojang studios is aiming to make that experience even better with the world's most popular indie game, Minecraft.

I love the raspberry pi's and it's great that minecraft can be loaded onto it.

Wonder how well it will run tho as even people with quite beasty computers report issues :\

It will be Minecraft PI edition of course. Minecraft is actually reccomended to have a minimum of 1gb of RAM to run and the Raspberry Pi depending on it's model has either 256mb or 512mb of RAM. I'm not sure how much Pocket Edition uses but the PI edition won't be the same.
