Is it always like that? I never lag in the other server I play in. .

But in this server I lag allot, and I constantly have to disconnect, upon my game freezing up, forcing it to shut down, the reconnecting to get it running smoothly again before just a while after that ti will start lagging, making my game play not enjoyable

I have 3GB of RAM, and a Radeon HD 2600 PRO, and like I said on the other server my game does NOT lag

Please help.

Other people say they dont

Other people say they dont lag at all around the spawn, yet I do.. so many buildings and objects at the same time. I dont lag in other servers.

Everyone else is telling me they dont lag, only one other person lags in this server like I do

I really want to play in this server without the lag

then

it would be your end, make sure you are not running anything too heavy in the background and give your java more ram to run Minecraft

...

You also need to check all the processes running, and kill what you don't need. Like your internet browser especially...

Mmmm. Laggy.

I get a "random lag spikes every now and then" near Spawn. Not at all often but when I do it one big one that take me back far. At other times I get a few or so little lags in a row that only takes me back a few blocks.

Hope this may help in finding the source of the laggy...

About to give Minecraft software more ram, say 4GB. Maybe let me see farther away. (Thanks wolftone1916 for the post.)
