Minecraft keeps crashing in internet explorer and wont even run in firefox. It keep having to recover the tab in Internet Explorer. Any help?

after i log in and i join a server, when the window pops up for the game

It sounds like theres an error with Java. Try uninstalling all versions of Java that you have and then installing the new version of Java by clicking here.
