Iv tried searching 1st but can't find anythink...

Iv been told that i need to copy a certain file/folder ready for when World of Minecraft publicSMP v1.3 is realeased. I think this is to enable inventory save, im not complelty sure tbh. But been told its important.

The files/folder is suppose to be called "minecraft.jar" and its suppose to be in ".minecraft/bin" the only problem is i don't see it, and im not sure where im suppose to copy it too.

I would appreciate any help, please.

Strange but not yet

Funny that. I had the same thing. Do you use a Mac like I do? Maybe that why ".minecraft/bin" don't exist. Maybe it only for Windows? But a "jar" file for Windows? Anyway, it too soon yet, it not the first of, o wait, it the 1st of August now.

On Windows, it's in

On Windows, it's in %APPDATA%/.minecraft/bin

EDIT: You actually already found it. It just says minecraft, and then over to the right it says jar file.

If you can't find appdata, try searching it in the file manager.
On Mac, it's in <home>/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin
Can't give you much other then that, i've never owned a mac.
