Hey everyone,

So I have seen a bunch of people pointing out that minecraft.net have stopped hosting minecraft classic. I tried to test this out for myself, but their servers seem to be overloaded, so I will assume that it is true.

This does not mean that you can no longer play minecraft classic, because luckily, last update, the coding magicians made it so that the client no longer needed minecraft.net to access servers, meaning that we can still play the game exactly as we always could.

For anyone who has any questions/issues with the World of Minecraft client, feel free to ask here, because apparently we can't just tell you to play through minecraft.net anymore.

[EDIT]: I finally managed to get onto minecraft.net, the server list is still there and you can play the game through it, they have only removed the link from the front page, so if you do play through minecraft.net, bookmark that server page.
