MOD INSTALLATION

I have been able to install mods in the past 1.5.2 but now that 1.6 is out everything is different. 
Why couldn't they have just kept it the same? please help!

If one of these mods is one you want go to skydaz.com they have nice installers..

Just download magiclauncher. It simplifies it to just putting the mod in a folder and clicking install. No deleating META-INF or anything.

i believe u go to .minbecraft then versions the copy 1.6.2 past a second 1.6.2 but rename it 1.6.2mod.
Then open 1.6.2mod and rename both files in there 1.6.2mod.
Then open the json file and where it says "1,6,2" at the beginning rename it "1.6.2mod" then go back to the 1.6.2mod jar file open it with winrar and past in the files of the mod. That should work
Then in the MC launcher in the profiles select the 1.6.2mod profile
