I was on the forum a bit and saw that next to some profile stuff, in ones reply or post there are a sword pick helmet. What exactly are these and how would one earn them?

The Diamond pick means you are a staff member of the SMP server.

If you hover over them, it tells you. Mob Arena and PvP.

Neither of which you can get currently, since there is no mob arena to play in for the sword, and no pvp server to play on for the helmet. So if you don't have one already, you can't get one. (For now).
The iron pick *should* appear after you play on the smp server.

Not sure about the pvp server, but cmp..
Since there is a removal of the Fun map and the grey rank, it is unknown at this time whether an icon will be introduced as the original idea for the icon was fully connected to the approval system of CMP. With that being said, the icon idea may come again to show that a person has played on CMP (like the SMP icon) .
But really, no one knows at this time so it'll be up to Snow to answer that.

The problem with implementing anything on the forums, is that there's no way for Snow to do it. The only person who has the capabilities to add things like that to the website would be H4X, who as we all know, is quite busy with other things. So I would have to say yes, the plan is to have the pvp tag integrated with the pvp server, and to add a new Cmp tag. As for when that would happen however.... Nobody knows.

You get the pick when you play on SMP, for some reason yours hasnt appeared.
The others can't be gained at the moment because the server is not properly linked with the website.
