So, I decided the easiest way to have a flat area for people to build at my city is to make a way to and from the top of the nether. I got on top of the nether, but unfortunately the method using dark oak to get back down from the top isn't working. I dunno if there is any reason for it, or if a staff wants to break it for me since trees aren't breaking indestructible blocks. I know that getting above the nether isn't exactly the most legit vanilla thing to do, but hey its vanilla, and I'm a bit frustrated to find that the server won't let me have all of the flatlands. 

P.S. I am now stranded above the nether. I can get out but choose not to.
