New to Minecraft Sean

Hey I'm Sean and I just started Minecraft. So far I've only done one world and have been digging for a long time without finding much besides iron ore and stone. Hopefully I can read up on some good strategies or get to know some of you to join a nice server with no grieving. Anyways, that's my hope.
