So I set up a minecraft server before, but I deleted all my files and started again and now no one can connect.

Does anyone know why? My java/drivers are up to date, and the port is forwarded.

Sorry

since I can't edit I should explain, my last server did allow for multiplayer, people could connect before.

But since I deleted the folder and restarted, no one can join.

Did you get a new router? Are you sure the server settings allow for multiplayer and are set up for the correct ports?

Same router

Also, it used to work.

I was running some minecraft addons and I deleted them along with the server files.

I was looking through my firewall and saw that one of them was still running (mc# or something, i forget what it was exactly i downloaded) so I removed it.

I've tried changing/forwarding the ports to 1200 and it still wont let me in.

I don't know how to change my IP. I don't think it's important because the ports are forwarded to 25565, thats the port I'm using to run minecraft. The url was always the same, though it's changed now and won't let anyone play :P

To make sure your static IP

To make sure your static IP is the same as your forwarded ports do this:

Go to Start, type cmd, then when the command prompt comes up type (without quotes) "ipconfig /all"
Then find IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.*
Then go to your router and make sure that whatever number you see where the * is is the ip you have the ports open for.
