I feel there is a need for Personal Chat Group. The global chat these days are polluted with many, annoying people (new and old) and being in a small clan, my clan chats are not very active. I wish to talk with many player at once, but I cannot do this on global for it is too polluted with random garbage.

Your idea is good, but are you saying that those with lower ranks are not to be trusted? Anyone can place a block and gain rep, so does that mean all constructors must be trustworthy as they have had 'experience' of Realms? I have been on Realms since it was was put up, I am technician so does that mean I am not trustworthy?
Apart from that the idea is good, but it could possibly have the downsides.

Instead of making it rank specific, why not have it as a purchaseable option in the Rep Store :)
That is, if you can afford it though.
I suggest creating one should (possibly) be the same price as freemium?
And people can join them for free :P
I also suggest that they should have the ability to be customized (Eg. Chat colour, ranks allowed, chat moderators etc.)
People who have been granted as chat moderators in these Personal Chat Groups should have the ability to kick, silence or ban others from that chat.
Staff should also be able to see these chats too without joining them, and be able to see people using the chat's kick, ban and silence cmds in order to moderate them, and make sure they're not abused.
Just some suggestions :)

there once was a rank+ chat, #chat for designer+
this was abused and filled with inappropriate chat
people can still be abused through this "new" chat
and I for one, do not want to go moderate all private chats
I suggest we do not add this

i have read though your proposal and as many have said there used to be rank based chat groups but they were heavily abused with players saying stuff about other players on these chats ect ect. it would be much easier if the clan function was modified so that the leader could choose other clan members to recruit/kick members. as it is, World of Minecraft clans has been left open for alot of development.
so in summary it is highly unlikely that they will bring back rank chats or add ur suggested chat, the next best thing you could hope for is that the clan system is improved/finished but you have to remember that the staff have jobs ect thus time to work on new and improved features for World of Minecraft is limited

i agree with kevin on this.. the rank chat has been abused so it got removed. and that clan thing for other players being co-leaders would be a nice improvement for it.
