Possible Commands for the Future
Here are a few commands that i think would be cool enough to add to womrealms, if you have an idea for a commad please leave a detailed explimation on how it works ect nad i its good enough that i think it would be seriously considered ill add it to the list
Command name: /TeleLava
Short name: /tlava
Grant level: Advance+
Sub-Command: /SetTele
Purpose: Mainly for spleef but could also be used for in realm traps, its basicly a lava block that when touched teleports the player to a set spawn that you can choose (/SetTele)
Command name: /TeleWater
Short name: /twater
Grant level: Realm Owner
Sub-Command: /SetRealm
Purpose: Quick way to get to a preset realm, basicly water that when touched sends you to a set realm that you can choose (/SetRealm)
Command name: /SetHome
Short name: /Sethome
Grant level: Realm Owner
Purpose: makes a realm of your choice the spawn realm instead of the chat realm (the first realm you enter when you first start up the game)
Command name: /Pyramid
Short name: /pyramid
Grant level: Advance+
Sub-Command: /pyramid [block] perfect
Purpose: Makes a pyramid out of the selected block within the co-ordantes you have selected. this was a command available on the other World of Minecraft classic sever before they switched to Survival. it is useful for making roofs
Command name: /SetGrass
Short name: /sgrass
Grant level: Realm Owner
Sub-Command: /setgrass [number between 0-9]
Purpose: So you can set how fast grass grows starting from 0 (dose not grow)
to 9 (grows instantly)
Command name: /Who
Short name: /who
Grant level: Guest+
Purpose: displays the usernanames of all the players currently online (in game) in the chat window, most severs have a varent of this function.
Command name: /Undo, /Redo
Short name:/undo, /redo
Grant level: Admin+
Purpose: to undo the lasts actions in the current realm by another player, /redo undo's /undo incase u got the wrong player. this used to be a moderator command but it was removed when mods were.
Command name: /Cloak
Short name: /claok
Grant level: Realm owner
Sub-Command: /cloak [1 for on and 0 for off]
Purpose: says that the player (you) has logged out if someone trys to /tp to you but stops you from using any chat. this is so you can moderate your realm or just build in peace.
Command name: /CommandLock
Short name: /cmdlock
Grant level: Realm owner
Sub-Command: /cmdlock [on or off]
Purpose: prevents anyone but the realm owner from using a locked command, helpful whn u dont want people to use a command but u still want them to be able to build
Command name: /GrantClan
Short name: /grantclan
Grant level: Realm Owner*
Sub-Command: /grantclan [builder,advanced,admin or off]
Purpose: Allows all the members in the clan that you are in to build in you realm without having to individually granting them.
*you must be in a clan to use this
Command name: /GrantAll
Short name: /grantall
Grant level: Realm Owner
Sub-Command: /grantall [builder,advanced,admin or off]
Purpose: allows evry one to be granted the selected level in you realm without individually granting them.

- Command name: /Undo, /Redo - Possible command, only problem is it takes need to store data in database, and with hundreds of active realms daily, takes up a lot of space
- Command name: /Cloak - Will not be introduced.
- Command name: /CommandLock - Possible command, could be managed from womrealms.com
- Command name: /GrantClan - Possible command
- Command name: /GrantAll - Possible command, hard to manage and maintain
- Command name: /report - Won't be introduced, it will be spammed and won't be accurate.
- Command name: /ignoresymbol - Possible command, make chat clean for people too, but we shouldn't be making our decisions due to minefox
- Command name: /memoserv - Possible command, kind of like personal message service.
- Command name: /listen - Will not be introduced.
- Command name: /dirt - Don't think this will work.
- Command name: /away - How would this work? No way for a user to see you are away?
- Command name: /clanlog - Possible command.

This might be a little hard to do, but could it be possible for you to make a command that when you enter client 1.7.7+, it will not show your name as you show up in the right-hand corner? Cause sometimes I don't want people to know I'm on because I like to build, and I can't build well with people saying: Hiiii Sharpyyyy! That really starts to get annoying after a while. Thanks!

Purpose: Types a text in your realm, using the regular Minecraft font. North/east/south/west for vertical walls, and up/down for ceilings and floors respectively.

what if some1 (me) makes the alphabet and you (or some1 else) saves it as a region to the sever and then code the command to make it so if you type /text [block] hia people, it changes the block type (/replace)
and depending on how you mark the area it would paste it in a certain position or /type [block] [direction] [text] and it just rotates it (defult position is going right on the origin corner)

a sub command for fill:
command name: /fill
grant level: advanced+
sub command: /fill [block] wireframe
purpose: creates a wireframe within the perimiters marked with the selected block while leaving the inside of the wireframe intact (so if u use it on a build that is 32x32x32 it wont delete the build inside the wireframe)
a addition to the client:
when you are in the chat window if you click on some1's name on the chat text it will put that name in ur message bar so you dont have to type it (and you get it spelt perfectly the first time)
oh and another sub command for /fill would be to make hollow fills so like: /fill red hollow

Grant level: Guest
Sub-Command: /Notify [On|Off|Main|{Any Other SubRealm Name}
Purpose: When On: You get notified if someone visits ANY realm of yours, even if your in someone Else's realm! When off: It will not tell you when someone enters ANY of your realms. When Main: You get Notified if someone visits your realm [Main Only] When on {Any Other SubRealm} The user specifies which realm(s) to be notified of!

Maybe Stuff like /dance, does what it says type that and you do a animated jig :) idk and also /buildoutlinehouse /buildoutlinecircle, like you design something for everybody you think is cool, then you put it under those commands they choose from various options the layout design is layed for them. :) nother random idea, And also /systemtrust, as you become well known for being good or behaving and being friendly/ helpful you gain sort of a "goody good" point which you can cash in for like 100,000 rep or something but the /systemtrust bit is so you can monitor how close you are to a point. :) anyway thats all i could think of, Laters

I like the idea of portals!

because it would have to keep perm records for the portal enterance's and exits but if they make it only 1port per realm (this is 1 per realm not the extra maps) this will help lower the lag chance (and u cant use a portal from ur realm to go to another persons realm otherwise the server may have a larger lag chance cause of everyone going everywhere at once)

We NEED the /kick(or /ban)for only realm!
Ex.A guy is pissing me off. I do /kick he gets kicked from the realm and /ban is the same thing but perm

I really liked a couple of these. /kick and /ban is a must, /cmdlock could be usefull as well, possibly keeping people from copying your creations when u grant them adv for building... and the /type command would be really usefull as well. These are some cmds I really hope to see in the future.

I actually like the /away [reason] idea. I have nothing against it. It lets people that are unaware about whether you are present or not know that you aren't active or 'afk.' It would also be nice to have another command called /idlers.

Short name: /ol
Grant level: Advance+
Purpose: A version of /replace,/replaceall where the block chosen has a block put on top of it. /overlay stone white, all stone in the selected cuboid now have white wool on top.
Short name: /fill
Grant level: Advance+
Purpose: randomly generates 1/4 of the selected cuboid stone and 3/4 cobble.

Command name: /maze
Short name: /m
Grant level: Advance+
Sub-command: /m [blocktype] [size x] [size y]
Purpose: Randomly generates a maze! The prompting will look like this:
<Input>: /m
Warning: set a block type!
<Input>: /m glass
Warning: set a size!
<Input>: /m glass 32 32
Place bound 1 (which creates the start, 2 blocks high) <Placed>
Place bound 2 (which creates the finish, 2 blocks high) <Placed>
<Steps inside start, which is water>
<Does maze>
<Steps through finish, which is lava>
Your time was: 05:16
<Realm chat>: everystat13 got a time of 05:16!
So, to put it all together, you insert block type and size, place where the start and finish should be and keeps track of your time which is broadcasted over the realm channel when stepped through the finish.

I dont know much about coding but im sure that /maze cmd would be really hard to code to make sure there was an actual path to the finish.
It also takes out the creativity of people mazes.

that maze command is very useful if you are going to have a maze contest, like: the one with the fastest time, wins. and you dont need 2-3 weeks to make the maze :)

I don't really have enough time to add all the new features you guys want. The server was always designed to allow users to make plugins and submit them to us for inclusion, and as such I've just released the source code to all the current plugins for World of Minecraft realms.

im thinking for the realm ban
the realm ban will ban users from your realm BUT it will NOT keep the history for who is banned where, instead the client (will have to be a new client) will make a file in the folder you have the client in called "Banned Realm Users" (u may need some funky code for the server to look at the file u have in the folder) and then theres less of a space issue for the server
idk if it will work but if u do some how get it working it would be awesome

i think a /status command would be useful. im thinking there would be settings, like if someone has moved in the last minute they are "active", if they havent for a min they are "possibly afk" and havent moved for 5 they are "afk". maybe you could even combine this with one of those command ideas where you want to hide, and you could set yourself to afk. i know that ive spent a lot of time waiting to talk to people who i thought were still there but had gone afk

Grant level: owner (cause of the owner is responsible for their own realm)
use: to PM any staff currently logged in
this command would be handy for calling a staff member for someting like grief
but yes i know it would get abused but that is what [reason] is for
they will give a reason like: Grief, but if they use abuse the command the staff will say "do no abuse this command" or they may kick the person (u decide the consequences)
if there was no staff on in the first place it will PM <WM> (yes yes this can cause some probs) and he will come on
and if there is multiple staff on, it will randomly PM one of them not all of them (cause you dont want all the staff coming to the same realm)
eg:
/callstaff grief
"Please stay in your realm: a staff member will be right with you
if a staff member does not come, do not spam this command
as they are probably busy with someone else or AFK"

Very good ideas you have there, I especially like the tele blocks, and the set grass commands. They are ones i have wanted the server to add. I hope these ideas get added in. Also for the /undo thing for other people, you can use /rollback aswell. It can rollback other people to by using /rollback [user name].

McForge commands, all of em. Especially doors. Eg, door_obsidian makes an obsidian door that when you click it will remove the affected blocks (opens) and then makes em come back (closes). I did some sick sh*t with this on another server. It was awesome.

physics in this server would cause lag... it already lags enough as is, physics would cause crashes every 5 mins cause all the noobs flood everything with water

And alot of you guys ask about commands like portals, or doors, things like that. Those commands require physics which will actually cause the server to lag more because it takes alot to make those commands work (or so I assume, i'm really new to coding so I dont know much about coding or how servers work). This is just my thought. As much as i'm sure those commands would make the server a little better as far as building and stuff, I wouldn't want to introduce more lag or anything, as my Netbook (aka Toaster Computer) can't handle much and I already lag in chat unless I have fog on 2 or 3. But yea, anyway. Just throwin all that out there :P

server lag is completly different than computer lag
server lag: takes longer for ur stuff u say to come up or commands take forever to activate
computer lag is when its all well laggy and u have to have it at the lowest graphics possible
internet lag is just that ur internet service provider sux

Clan Suggestions:

one thing i would like to see in the future is the option for the leader of a clan to choose one of his realms to be a clan realm, in this realm clan ranks would apply, so leader would be owner, member would be builder and adv-member would be advanced and only members of that clan may enter that world(as it it locked to non-clan-men). a command that would go with this would be /clan, it works just like /home but instead take you to your desinated clan realm*
*you would only have access to this command if you are part of a clan and that clan has a desinated clan realm

It defeats the purpose of making circles in Minecraft entirely.

Function: Kicks a player in another world of yours.
I hate when annoying flamers/trolls/advertisers come into my realm while I'm building in another one of my worlds. Saves time I guess. Not sure if its possible to make though.
