Problem with claim

I have bought more claim blocks but I.m having problems expanding my claim I have Equiped a Golden Shovel followed the rules. Is there a Tutorial Video on how to do this?
Securing your plot has never been so easy.
- Equip a gold shovel
- Right click 1 corner of your plot
- Right click the opposite corner (don't forget to factor in the height)
- And you're done

The problem is that snow changed the setup of it, you now use a wooden shovel to do it. I guess he hasn't changed the message of golden shovels yet.
