Hey World of Minecraft mods, i wanted to ask that in the case you guys MUST have to make a new hack to the new version of the game to add some kinda of security just so just any kid of 5 years old could griefe every server of the game.
Something like making it only avaible to members with X forum posts, or wen you get banned from a server the hack don't work for the next 30 minutes, maybe wen banned the hack send a information to World of Minecraft.com and after a while his account get bloked(and you would need a World of Minecraft account to make the hack work), random trivia questions before opening the hack, anything so at least every server don't get griefed every 5 secomds. Thanks!

The World of Minecraft client shouldn't be

The World of Minecraft client shouldn't be generalised as being used only for griefing, currently, the client is free for public use and it's like that so people can access and use it easily. Griefers will grief, whether they own the client or not so, in my opinion, should not be restricted by using the ideas you have suggested.

Servers get griefed all the time, but the responsibility falls upon the server owner to make sure that players are able to build safely.

Also, you must take into account that the World of Minecraft Client is not the only program which supplies the hacks. If the coders decided to restrict it, people would download another client or tool from elsewhere.

Unfortunately, griefing sucks, wherever it is, but World of Minecraft can't take responsibility for it, even if the griefers are using the client we provide to the public.

nay, making only for a few

nay, making only for a few users was only one sugestion, but  i already saw a few players who couldn't stop flying, i think that making the player execute a simple task before opening the hack would at least anoy players who are banned alot other than players who stay 3h in the same server, i am not saying that World of Minecraft is responsible for the griefers (i don't even know if something like that is possible) but it sure make it a hell lot easier

baldPirate, I'm an op on a

baldPirate, I'm an op on a server, and (until Notch's new update broke the hacks) I used the World of Minecraft client wrapper. I used the hacks to easily -counter- griefing, by flying up and repairing the damage, or noclipping through the ground/walls to check on 'hidden' structures. There comes as much good from the hacks as comes ill.

Missing the point, I think

I think that "making the player execute a simple task before opening the hack" defeats the entire purpose of the "hacks." The client was created to ease people's building experience. You shouldn't have to run a metaphorical maze to open it. Other servers need to create and implement anti-griefing measures to their servers to prevent all forms of griefing, whether client-aided or not.

Perhaps we should limit our client to World of Minecraft servers, though. That would ensure that those who hate World of Minecraft will ease up on their pointless and baseless hate for the great things that World of Minecraft has brought to the community. This will also encourage great builders to stay on the one site that seems to embrace them - not shun them.
