Downloaded latest client today, tried to connect to a friend's server only to be told that the server was probably down. Connected via minecraft.net and got in just fine, saw people flying around so figured it was just a 1 off.

I am having this issue as well. It's happened to me on almost every server I go on. And most of them are 24/7 servers.

Bumpage, been a few days, still nothing has worked. Works fine on my laptop running 64bit win7, but on 32bit xp (which is all I have regular access to) nothing has worked.

I have played on this one server for a while, and today i couldn't get on, actually, i fount out i couldn't get on a few minutes ago. I haven't checked yet, but i will probably be able to play it on minecraft.net too.

You just have to keep trying. I get in after a few tries.

no dude i have been having this problem for a month now this is really annoying they need to come out with a new version in my opinion and stop telling ppl to redownload this and that it doesnt seem to work for this problem ive tried every solution so im thinking that World of Minecraft needs to be updated and or create a new version :( I MISS World of Minecraft REALMS

1.tried reinstalling the client ?
2.updated minecraft.jar file ?
I'm using the client right now together with many others which work perfectly fine.
Try to redownload the client ( http://www.worldofminecraft.com/Game_Client )
On the bottom of that page is a tutorial aswell , Follow it step by step , make sure you do NOT forget anything to do.
If it still doesn't work . Post another reply.
