Now, I've tried everything, my port is forwarded, I'm 110% sure of it. I've checked, double checked, and triple checked. I've set up everything that needs to be done to run a server, but it still won't work. and a friend and I think my Antivirus software could be blocking it with a firewall or something, and I can't figure out how to unblock my server.
I use AVG 9, anyone know how I can unblock my server?

If you would read the first post, I already forwarded the port...

Double check that the port is opened, there are multiple port checkers on Google. Be aware, some modems are more stubborn than others.

If you would read his post, he triple checked. There's obviously something more than port issues going on here.

My point was that though he might have done the procedure to open a port three times, none of them might have worked. I have this problem with my computer; I do everything necessary to open a port but when I test the port it is closed.

your firewall is probaly blocking it
try making a exeption in the firewall for the port?

Update: I managed to turn off AVG temporarily, but it still does not work.
any suggestions?
